Some Thoughts about Photography with Hubertus. Volume 20.
Sometimes I look over the pictures on my dashboard and I stop for quite a while when I see a picture I really love.
Here this was the case, a picture from a blog I strongly recommend.
alcoretmizar by Laure Olivro and Stéphane Cevoz is mainly a landscape blog, some private things here and there, I also saw fantasic pictures of Venice a while ago. I always like to see something from that blog.
A special mood of the coast here, you can almost feel the wind, the clouds move a bit. Quite long exposed, you can see that on the water. Fresh colors, maybe pimped up a bit later, but that doesn’t really matter. It’s a real moody seaside picture the way I like it. The hours around sunrise or sunset are very good for that. And every day looks a bit different on the coast. Normally is recommended to position the horizon not in the middle, better to take more sky. Indeed, most landscape pictures get more tension when you proceed like this (at least I think it’s so). But in this case, it had to be this way because of the composition with the stones in the foreground. So again, you see again that there is no basic rule that hasn’t to be broken sometimes.
So, much fun on the blog of the two, sure you find something you like.
Stay tuned, until next week,
Thank you, thank you very much Hubertus for this kind word… it’ always a huge pleasure and an honor to be reblogged… especially with a comment like this…
